WP Lookout is Launched

I’m very pleased to share that the first publicly accessible version of WP Lookout has launched! WP Lookout is all set to be the plugin and theme update intelligence tool for WordPress professionals.

This launch includes tracking for plugins and themes on WordPress.org, notifications about plugin and theme changes to email (immediate or daily digest), Slack or custom webhooks, and support for custom RSS feeds. It also includes our free WordPress plugin that will allow you to quickly load all the plugins and themes you use into WP Lookout. (If you don’t want to install Yet Another Plugin, there’s also a simple WP CLI option you can run via cron.)

That’s a lot for a v1, but there’s much more to come, including support for tracking plugins and themes outside of the WordPress.org directories. I’ll be sharing more about our roadmap soon.
